Chapter Twenty Nine

She looked better—stronger—as she sat in a rocking chair, holding her camera and talking to Eleanor, who'd pulled one of the visitor's chairs up close. Raven took a quick glance at the number inscribed on her palm, it was her thirty seventh day in the past. Raven couldn't help but think about how lucky she was, she felt guilty Sarah had be involved. After she recovered, Raven didn't hear from her again. She figured she had been threatened, or she was too scared to speak due to the crash.

That was exactly what the person wanted, to scare them off. Raven was perplexed that she wasn't able to get any information from Sarah. She understood her perfectly, but at the same time, it was painful.

There was still a little pain on Raven's arm, but she was close to full recovery. Her body had to stay fresh. After learning some car accident injuries do not ever fully heal, she promised to reduce her speed whenever she drove.
