Chapter 43: Living together

As Anita walked out of Alexander's office, all eyes were on her.

All of Alexander's workers, including his secretary, kept staring at her with wide eyes while murmuring among themselves.

"Is this not Anita Fredrick? What is she doing here, and why is she with Mr. Scott?"

Paparazzi even took pictures of her as she walked out of the company.

When Anita saw Lawrence and Angie talking outside, she started walking towards them while dragging her feet sluggishly.

She did not know how to face Lawrence; she knew that by now he would have known everything that went on, and he would be aware that she used him.

She expected him to be mad at her as he turned to face her, but instead, he smiled at her.

"You are really such a good mother, Anita; I commend your bravery." He said, tapping her shoulder lightly.
