THE AGONY OF PAIN.

The following morning, I was escorted out of my cell by the Lycan guards, my body still aching from the beating I had received. I didn't know what to expect, but I was prepared to face whatever punishment was coming my way. As I walked, I could feel the eyes of the other Lycans on me, their glasses filled with contempt and disgust.

Lycan was waiting for me, his face set in a deep scowl. "You have disgraced our pack," he growled, his voice filled with anger. "And for that, you will suffer."
