DAMN HOT!

Sometimes when you see the sun rising you brace yourself hoping for a new start. A new lease on life. The way the sun kisses the sky makes you believe that a new opportunity awaits you.

However, its life, full of mysteries. The road that you tread on may be the right one, but the reality is you'll never know which step you take will bring about what you have looking for. Keep on walking. Life always has unexpected turns which are always waiting for you. As every morning comes after the night, I wish that all the grief of my life could be lost in the same morning. May some lights come into my life and brighten every corner of it. I am waiting for the star that brightens my lonely sky with the light of its love.

Fiona P. O. V.

I groaned as the harsh morning sun danced over my face, toying with me and coaxing me to get out of bed, and I so desperately wanted to pull the drapes close. But my bed was inviting. The want to stay cuddled against my various amounts of comfy pillows outweighed the need to close the blinds. I decided to stay in bed and grumbled out a million very colorful profanities, hurling each one to this current morning. To be defined as a morning person was nothing I’d be accountable for.

“Honey, get up! You have to go to school, remember?”

I grudgingly open my eyes and looked up at my mother, as usual, she smelled like lavender. Her long curly brown hair framed her friendly and thin lips curved into a warm smile. She had green eyes just like me. She lovingly brushed stray hairs off my forehead and reached over to open my window. The melodic notes of chirping birds filled my room and the smell of freshly cut grass reached my nose, a sharp werewolf sensor could also smell the sweet scent of rain dew from last night's downpour.

Somehow I lazily got out to my bed and was greeted by the cold morning air. “I hate this,” I grumbled out to the empty air as I moved into the bathroom, my morning voice sounding as gritty as an amateur trying their hands at a violin. Horrendous.

After, my crying bladder decided to make its agony known. It seemed like minutes later when I found myself walking out of the bathroom freshly bathed and brushed, and I padded my way lazily into my bedroom.

A cold gust of wind hit my wet skin, and I shivered. Strange, I don’t remember opening the window from when I closed it last night…

Maybe Mom did, I assured myself as I ignored the open window and walked into the closet, picking out an outfit that would go well with my well-worn-out white sneakers. Once all dressed up and ready, I made a check for my iPod, phone, and books before walking towards the window and glancing at the church once again. I just couldn’t stop looking at it. The tales spun as I watched and analyzed every window.

Furthermore, I dried myself off and wrapped my wet hair, and went to my closet, I put on my undergarments and changed into a knee-length steel-colored pencil skirt and sky blue shirt with black embroidery. Then I went back into my room and took the towel off my hair and hung it up, brushing my hair. I left it down to air dry. After I was fully dressed, I applied minimal makeup with only a winged eyeliner and some nude lipstick. With a final glance and a faint smile lurking on my lips, I walked downstairs and into the kitchen. After breakfast I slipped on my black shoes and grabbed my bag, I love that the clock reads 7:40 perfect timing.

"Take care love I'll be waiting for your new high school experience."

My mother said and I kissed her cheeks and left for school. My New Journey!

Soon I was standing in front of my new high school, this big campus made me feel good but for some reason, I was scared too. The key to my dream

There were many people spared everywhere in groups, in couples, and alone. I took a deep breath and calm myself down, grabbed my bag pack, and immediately was feeling gazes resting on me. chewing my bottom lip I let my feet lead the way inside, I was astonished at what I saw. There were too long buildings connected to a smaller one in the middle.

As I walked in I had some strange feeling that it is very difficult to say in words. Something different was something new but I felt strong and confident when I took my first step to school, There is something that gave me some unique feelings. But I ignored these things right now and went further.

I smiled at the lady at the counter. She seemed nice enough with a navy blue suit on. Her gracefully graying hair rolled up in a bun, and those twinkling eyes assured a good sense of humor.

“Hello Mam, I'm Fiona White moon, a new student here attending for my senior year "

I said while the lady stopped typing and gave me a bright smile.

"Oh great Miss White moon, this way please."

I followed her and we made our way to the main office to complete some paperwork.

"Oh, yes, dear! Here is your schedule, your locker number, and your pin just wait for a second, one of our students will be showing you around and helping you with whatever you need... umm... there he is..."

She said, “Thank you, ma’am. It means a lot! Have a nice day.” I said and around to see a tall boy walk in timidity.

He had beautiful features but before I notice him for some reason I averted my gaze back.

"He is Duke."

The lady gestured for the boy to come in and he seemed approachable just by his looks and warm smile.

"Hey miss newbie"

He said in a friendly manner and extended out his hand.

"Hello I'm Fiona"

We both shook hands and started our friendship. After that, the lady handed me a mapping schedule and I'd card.

"Make sure Duke, she doesn't get lost."

She said.

"Don't worry Miss Rose I'll take care of her."

Duke winked at her before leading us out.

“Let’s find my locker” I let out in huffs, still trying to catch my breath as I was being rushed out of the reception area.

"You know what Fiona, I already like you"

Duke said and I felt kinda uncomfortable.

"You don't even know me, Duke," I said.

"I know but you're different you should know that umm... unique or I say attractive and... and your aura it's something else plus you're beautiful and pretty and adorable and something I can't explain but yes it's unacceptable...."

Duke started replying and I giggled at his joke.

(maybe in truth, there will be something different that distinguishes her from others.)

"Okay let's be friends first what say?"

He asked to change the topic and I slowly nodded.

After that, we talked about various things and about our next classes on the way to our locker room.

"Fiona here is our locker room go there, I thought I forgot my cell phone there. I'll be back in minutes."

He excused me, I smiled back and turned my way to the locker room which was at a distance of some step. I walked through the empty corridor and was about to enter, at that moment my mind was hit with a very unfamiliar but delighted scent, and felt goosebumps all over my body.

"Ooohhhh... Gooossshhh."

The cologne was mouth-watering!

If it was even cologne I had no idea, it seemed to be more of a natural manly scent mixed with something like lavender. I was busy inhaling this toxic smell with a cute frown between my brows and all of a sudden I collided with something.

"Seriously Fiona?"

A wall I could have done better than that. I thought

"But a wall doesn't have hands, DUMBO!"

My conscience answered back rolling her eyes. I shut my eyes tight in shame, I'm never clumsy.

"Careful little bird"

A deep magical voice interrupted the inner battle with my conscience and that's when I realized a big, callous hand holding my forearm and the other on my waist preventing me from falling down my senses filling up his masculine sandalwood scent causing a shiver to run down my spine. I looked up to apologize but came in contact with the most beautiful pair of blue eyes, a piercing pair with a tendency to hypnotize. Awed by the rare deep blue electrifying eyes color that you can swim in your whole day and night. I felt myself more nervous as he smirked and I could feel my temperature rise and me clenching my tights together. He was a sight for sore eyes with mesmerizing deep dark hawk-like orbs with eyelashes so long, five o'clock shadow cast by his stubble, sharp razor-like jaw, with a perfect muscular physique and cherry on the top he had the plumpest pink lips I had ever seen on a guy and wanted badly to feel them on mine. His full face washes flawlessly and is sculpted like God's. I was speechless.
