Agitated that I couldn't find Hailey, I hop back into my car and drove back home. "Damn it! That bitch is really one lucky whore."

I pulled over into the port of my house and I disembarked, stomping into the house with my heels clicking on the tiled floor. My heart skipped a beat at the sight of the figure standing right infront of me, but backing me. He seem to be on call with someone.

He turned back slowly, disconnecting the call and staring at me. "Jane, are you alright?"
