I can't believe Xander has been avoiding my calls. If it wasn't so essential to have someone to work with on this mission of mine. There is no way I would involve myself with someone so arrogant. I was about to lose my mind when he didn't pick his call, for his own good I hoped he would pick my final attempt at calling him.

The most annoying of all is the unremorseful stretch to his tone. More like an order for me to come meet him at his bar after sending me an address. My dad and Amber are recuperating just fine, but I can't seem to get off the nagging thought that the enemies might strike differently.

After saying yes to Declan, I thought it wise to communicate the present situation of things to Xander, but that unusual being appears to be avoiding me. Ever since the moment we had in the pack house, I haven't seen him.
