Running as fast as his legs could carry him, Declan moved at the full speed of rage. When he got to the rogues' territory, he was beginning to feel fear at how tough the guards looked. Bracing himself, he walked towards them with a determined stride.

“Where do you think you are going?” One of the guards said in a tough voice.

Declan held his gaze, “I want to see your leader, John.”

The guards stared at each other, laughing, one of them said. “you have got a lot of nerve to come in front of us and seek for our leader. Who are you?”

“Tell him, I am Declan, the son of Elizabeth and the next Alpha of Blackstone pack. And I won't leave here until he talks to me.”

They burst into another fit of laughter, wondering if he was crazy. Their laughter faded at the sight of his determined look. Whispering to one another, one of them ran into the pack to find their leader. John was seated in front of his cabin, enjoying the atmosphere, with the damsel next to him massaging his feet.
