Kira's POV

Seeing my father open his eyes after what seem to be like forever had me over the moon. I had been distressed that he might not survive it. But, he eventually opened his eyes. Hasn't started talking yet, but I know he would with time.

I stared at mum as she rubbed her palms slowly against his bare arm. I felt sad for her, she has been going through so much all alone, while I gallivant around seeking for revenge. Likewise, I really don't understand what is going on anymore. Likewise, I thought I knew how it would all begin and end, right now, the only thing I am aware of is the beginning.

Everyone seems to be facing one personal problem or another. I was a bit worried, though, with my dad and Amber recuperating. Leila and Declan would definitely want to strike again.
