1| My revenge Plan

LORIA’S POV

Nick’s laughter filled the balcony as we played games that afternoon.

“Aunt Loria, look. I made a tower taller than you.”

I smiled and tapped the top block with one finger.

“If it is taller than me, then it must be very strong.”

He grinned and added another piece. The tower leaned but I reached out and steadied it before it could fall.

“You always save it,” he said smiling.

“That’s because I have a bad habit of always wanting to fix things.”

The words came out heavier than I meant but Nick did’nt notice. He was already talking about the next tower, the next game, the next thing he wanted to show me and I let him.

I needed these small moments because they were literally the only things that made me still feel alive.

My phone buzzed on the small table beside me and I picked it up.

Tyler: *Come to my room. Now it's urgent.*

I stared at the message for a second, then looked at Nick.

“I have to go inside for a little while. Can you play here without me?”

He nodded like it was nothing. “I’ll build two towers this time and it'll be much taller than you.”

“Stay on the balcony,” I said. “Don’t climb the rail hun. I’ll be back.”

“I know.” He smiled at me and I kissed the top of his head and went inside.

I walked past the training room where Tyler had spent a year teaching me how to fight without my wolf. The mats were still on the floor and the wooden staffs still leaned on the wall. Each time I set my eyes on them, anger built up and I'd remember just how much Varex made me loose… Including my Wolf.i haven't felt her ever since the fire and I couldn't shift anymore.

I reached Tyler’s room, knocked once and opened his door.

He was standing by the window with a folder in his hand. He immediately knew I was inside and spoke.

“Sit.”

I sat.

“I have news,” he said. “I think it is time we start.”

I looked at him.

“Start what?”

“The thing we have been waiting for.” He turned from the window. “Varex Rivenbow is looking for a surrogate, his wife cannot give him an heir and the whole country is talking about it. Women have been going to the Aurelian pack house for weeks but he keeps rejecting them. There is a pay but that's not what we are after… this is a perfect disguise for you to exact your revenge and get into the Aurelian pack house for the second phase of our plan Loria.

“I already heard.” I said knowing my mind has been on this particular news for some time now.

Tyler’s eyes narrowed a little. “You heard and you said nothing?”

“I was waiting for the right time to tell you. And the right place. I did not want to say it in front of Nick, you are always at the office or with Nick.”

He studied my face. “And now?”

“Now I think this is the opening we needed.”

I leaned forward and continued.

“This is how I get the child he killed back. Not the same child… I know that. But a child from him and a child he will want more than anything… I'll take it away from him like he look mine but I won't kill it but take care of it away from him.

I will walk into that house, make his life ugly from the inside, cause him pain every day I stay there, and when the time is right, I will leave with the baby. Even before it is born if I have to.”

Tyler was quiet for a moment. Then he nodded in acceptance.

“That is a great idea.. it's similar to mine but it's all good.”

He put the folder on the table between us and stepped closer.

“You cannot forget Nick Loria.. while you're on the mission try not to deviate and always bring out time for nick.. even if you don't find any for me I'll manage… I'll discuss the other part of our Revenge plan while you are there, I must structurize it properly first to avoid mistakes.”

“ I cannot deviate from the Plan Tyler because you literally don't know how much I hate Varex now and how much joy his Downfall will bring me.. about Nick, I'll definitely find time for him but it will all be done in secret to avoid any kind of trace that would lead to suspection.”

Tyler watched me like he was measuring every word. “Good. Then we do it.”

“I should go back to Nick.. it isn't nice to leave him all alone at the Balcony, it isn't safe either.”

“Go,” he said. “Tonight we talk about how you walk into that pack house. Tomorrow we kick off the plan. I'll arrange every other thing so you need not worry.”

I nooded and left his room, walking slowly down the hall.

Nick was still on the balcony.

“You were gone long,” he said.

“I know. I’m here now.”

I sat with him until he finally got tired.

I fed him dinner and made sure he got some sleep before having mine and heading to my room.

Varex doesn't know what's coming for him… I'll make sure I avenge my child's death and avenge my lost wolf too.

“I’m back from the grave for you Varex!”
