You can't hide everything.

Katherine kept her distance in case that would be a trap. It wouldn't be a first for vampires to attack wolves, and she was a perfect target, as there was no other wolf with her.

She was watching the man on the ground, but there were no signs of movement. There was also no more vampire scent in the air than his own. And blood. Not a human or werewolf, but a vampire. It looked like he was wounded.

~ Should we check on him?~ Katherine asked Lucy.

~ Are you seriously asking me that? The good vampire is a dead vampire. There is no need to change it. ~ Her wolf had a firm opinion.

It was very accurate. Vampires and werewolves never get along. It was going on forever.

Unfortunately, both species fought against each other in the past, and it didn't help at all.

Yet, Katherine still felt sorry for the man on the ground.
