My wolf doesn't know if I should be pleased with Lilith for helping me out against King or be mad at myself for trusting her to be my eyes and ears on my behalf.

From what I understand in her statement, King and Lilith have had their meals with the mayor and governor. As far as I could remember, Lilith also hates King even if they have the same mindset; bullies.

And that King was not her type. At least that was what she told me when I asked her while we were still mates.

But why does it sounds to me like King was already introducing Lilith to his parents? Wait... Are they dating? Are they girlfriend and boyfriend now?

"But, babe. We were just making fun of them. And there's no harm happening here, don't you see that?" King insisted to Lilith.

And yes, my concern just got answered. King addressed Lilith as "babe". Only fools could have not understood that they were going together.
