Olivia's POV

“Why would Damien do this? How could he call Mum over here without my notice, now this would only stress her out,” I thought as I sat beside Mum.

“You are a strong shewolf. I knew I had given birth to a warrior, the night I had you,” Mum said.

I swallowed, wondering what she was driving at. What and what did Damien tell her?

I hope it wasn't everything. I would have to deal with him later. First, I had to take care of Mum.

“There was no need for you to come, Mum,” I told her. “We were almost heading home.”

Mum stared at me and pressed her lips into a thin line. Then she nodded her head. “I came to take you home with me.”

I raised a brow at her. “What do you mean?” I asked, shaking my head. “Are you trying to say I can't come home alone?”

“I should at least be of support to you. I told you Damien had told me everything, I didn’t know how you would take it.”
