On September 1, 2003, a meteor that was nearly the size of the planet Earth, which was deemed radioactive by astrologists, threatened the existence of all living and non-living things on the planet when it was discovered flying towards our atmosphere.

The news of this bizarre meteor, which astrologers named M-2003, quickly spread all over the world as it approached the Earth's atmosphere.

Within that same day after it had been detected by the satellites owned by Kiyokawa, one of the most powerful and advanced countries ever existed located in the Asian region in terms of technology, the government from that nation has immediately taken action in hopes of taking down the meteor which, by that time, was fast approaching Earth's atmosphere.

By using two of their greatest inventions which can generate powerful laser beams and enough to penetrate and take down M-2003, all mankind was saved from total destruction and the mentioned meteor was immediately shut down by their weapons.

It should have been a triumphant event in human history, but the opposite happened. These fools didn't know what could happen once the tiny, little meteorites entered the atmosphere and fell like a mini-meteor shower on that very same day when it was taken down by Kiyokawa's super laser beams.

As each of the meteor's parts contains a lot of radioactive material several days after M-2003's parts reached the four corners of the Earth, most of the pregnant women at that time were highly affected by this substance. After each of these women absorbed the radiation emanating from the original source where the meteorites have landed, their due date was moved ahead from their scheduled labor.

Resulting in the birth of the next generation of children naturally gifted with special abilities that were later tagged as Alphas.

An executive order was passed by the government after the discovery of these unique babies born five days after the meteorites landed on the Earth, ordering execution on the spot of all children found with special abilities by Kiyokawa's great scientists, known by the citizens as the Great Slaughter.

Thus the start of the world's Dark Age for people born on that particular day.

Miyazaki Aiko, the lovely wife of the founder and CEO of one of the largest telecommunications in Kiyokawa, was actually no exception to all that was happening around her.

As she watched the latest news on their television in their luxury-looking lobby, Mrs. Miyazaki can't help but held her big tummy with all uneasiness.

It was said that most of the pregnant women were greatly affected by this certain meteor resulting in their early labor, but hers is still not yet happening. Can it be that she was luckily spared by the Great Gods in the heavens?

Her doctor has said that her supposed to be delivery month is also this month of September, but on the 20th day. Mrs. Miyazaki thought, if she also happens to have early labor, it wouldn't be because of the said catastrophe that just recently happened on their planet... right?

Gosh, just merely watching the daily news gives her too much anxiousness that she can't possibly calm down instantly.

Due to that reason, Aiko picks up a bell placed on the glass table in front of her and rings it afterward. Shortly after, one female servant hurriedly came to her aid.

"Bring me a cup of Chamomile tea, please," Mrs. Miyazaki ordered, which startled the maid.

"But madam, you're pregnant--"

"I am fully aware of my current condition, however... just do as I say, please?" Mrs. Miyazaki somehow pleaded as she exhaled a frustrated sigh. "I need something to calm my nerves right now."

Reluctantly, the servant bowed her head down and responded, "As you wish, madam."

After that quick conversation with her master, the servant hurriedly turned on her heels and scurried away past the madam and towards the kitchen.

As for Mrs. Miyazaki, she had now turned off her television out of pure irritation and tried her best to relax for a while and calmly rested her back on the four-seater vintage sofa that's worth millions of yen for the entire sofa set.

Their first child should be fine... Mrs. Miyazaki convinced herself over and over again that it's starting to sound like some sort of enchantment in her ears at the time.

Her supportive and loving husband, Mr. Miyazaki Haruto is currently busy running the company as usual dealing with expanding their business in other fields where they can generate money and jobs for the jobless people of Kiyokawa. 

Even if that's the case, her husband is not the typical type of busy man who doesn't have time to deal with their wives and show them their affection. In fact, Mr. Miyazaki is quite the opposite of that especially after Mrs. Miyazaki started conceiving their first child.

Speaking of her husband, Mrs. Miyazaki felt her phone vibrated from the minimalist glass table placed in front of her and hurriedly picked it up a lightning speed once she sees that her husband's name flashed on the screen.

"Hello, darling?" Mrs. Miyazaki initially greeted happily. "How's work?"

Mr. Miyazaki chuckled on the other line and replied "You know, the usual. The meeting's just ended and we got the deal! How's our baby there?"

"Wow, glad to hear that! I believe you can close that deal off. As for the baby, she is perfectly fine, darling. Earlier, it's beginning to move a lot and---"

Mrs. Miyazaki wasn't able to continue with what she was about to say when she felt an excruciating pain in her belly and lower back, causing her to almost dropped the phone down.

Her husband, on the other line, can't help but be worried for her lovely wife when she stopped talking.

"Darling? Hello darling, is everything okay there?"

At the same time, the servant whom Mrs. Miyazaki ordered earlier has already returned with the tray containing her master's cup of Chamomile tea and witnessed firsthand what's happening currently with the madam.

As quickly as she could, the servant set aside the tray on the table and rushed to her master's side to help in any way that she can.

"D-darling..." Mrs. Miyazaki managed to say on her phone, her lips slightly trembling from the contractions that she is getting. "I-I think our baby is about to be born!"

The happiness on Mr. Miyazaki's face was surely hard to miss as well as the horror that he feels for his wife. With a quick move, Mr. Miyazaki rushed to his office while the phone was still in his ears.

"Darling, I'll be there in a jiffy, alright? I'll cancel all of my appointments for you today. In the meantime, I'll call my mother to help you with delivering out our baby."

Mr. Miyazaki's mother was professionally known to be the famous and well-sought midwife in the East Section for those who think can't possibly make it in the hospital in time. And that should have been the same case for his wife.

As fast as the wind, Mr. Miyazaki dialed his mother's number and started speaking in an urgent manner once his mother had picked up the call.

"Mother, I need you to be on my wife's side, quick! We are about to have our firstborn child!"
