Chapter 4

Sebastian stepped out of the elevator as soon as the iron doors went open. He walked straight to the conference room, ignoring the secretary's greeting.

Ralph rushed forward and pushed the door to the conference room open, stepping aside for the Alpha king to walk in.

"Mr. Duncan." Mr. Deville called, stretching out his hand for a handshake.

Sebastian ignored him and walked straight to the chair at the end of the table, opposite the glass walls, pulling it out before sitting. He relaxed back on the chair and knitted his brows together, staring at Deville with a look that clearly reads, "Business talk only"

Amelia stared straight at the wall, obviously lost in thought. She took her hand to the cup of coffee on the table before her, running her fingers over it.

She took a deep breath trying to stay calm, she was scared. She was going crazy.

Her whole life is looking like a nightmare now. She really wishes she'd wake up from it.

Her life is really really crazy. How would a man she has been seeing in her dreams for over two years, suddenly come to her.

    How is he real?

    God!

Amelia groaned, palming her forehead. Why is her life getting messed up? Right now she misses her mother.

She wishes she could call her and tell her about it, but she can't. It would sound so absurd. No one might believe her.

Maybe she should find him, know more about it

But how would she do that? She knows nothing about him.

Amelia placed her head on her palm, she really should stop thinking. Maybe she should go to the bar. She doesn't work mornings but she really needs to take her mind off this.

With that last thought, she took the cup to her mouth and gulped down the entire content, before heading to her room to get dressed.

"You haven't told me how this happened." Greg said to Dallas who laid on the bed, badly injured. Most parts of his body bandaged, looking like he could die any second from now.

"Oh god man, it was really awful." Dallas groaned, his voice really hoarse.

"Tell me, who did this to you?! I'm gonna show him, he messed with the wrong person!!" Greg yelled in pure fury.

"I don't know." Dallas managed to voice out. He found it really hard to speak.

"He was so strong. He...he was growling so loud as he killed them. I don't know but...his eyes." He coughed violently as he explained. "His eyes, they turned red. He...he killed them with his bare hands. He was so fast, I couldn't run away in time."

"Wait! You said his eyes turned red??" Greg asked with a profound look of disbelief on his face.

"Yes, he was no match for us Greg."

"And he was so fast?" Greg asked as he felt shivers run down his spine.

"Yeah, what's wrong?" Dallas asked, noticing Greg's change of mood.

Greg ran his fingers around his face, as his heart began racing faster. "Nothing! Nothing, I have to go." Greg said lastly before he turned around and scurried out of the room.

    *Amelia's POV*

I pushed the door to the bar open, stepping into the almost-empty bar. It's morning and we usually don't have many customers.

"Hey! Amy!" Cookie yelled from behind the counter, waving her hands at me.

"Hey." I replied lowly, walking to an empty table. I took a deep breath after seating, waiting for her to come over.

"Hey, didn't think you'd come over." She said, sliding into the seat opposite me.

"Yeah, I got bored." I gave her a small smile, drumming my fingers on the table. "What's that?" I asked, pointing to the magazine in her hands.

"Oh this?" She asked with her brows quirked, raising the magazine up. "Some random dude left it, probably forgot it."

"Oh," was all I could say after her explanation.

"Yeah, you wanna take a look?"

"Maybe." I said, collecting the magazine from her.

"Okay, gotta go. Still got work to do." She waved before she turned around and left.

I heaved out a heavy sign and pushed some strands of hair from my face, opening the magazine to read when my eyes landed on a picture. My heart skipped a beat as I looked closer at the picture.

Sebastian Duncan, CEO of the Duncan trading corporation.

Of course I know the company. Sometimes I wished I'd get a job there, and now the man in my dreams happens to be the owner of the company!!

They produce everything humans would ever want. They had branches all around the world. The main branch happens to be here in Alaska. She knows it, everyone knows it.

Oh god! My eyes widened automatically in shock, I stood up from the chair and hurried out of the bar, giving Cookie a quick wave.

I don't know what I'm doing here but I just followed my mind. Right now I'm standing right in front of the company, my hands tucked in the pocket of my hoodie staring at the huge building.

I suddenly stopped breathing, when I sighted him, my rescuer walking out of the company dressed in a black tuxedo heading to a black car. I quickly scurried away, stopping to hide a few distance away from the company so he wouldn't see me.

Sebastian heaved out a sign of relief as he stepped out of the conference room. He headed straight to the elevator without Ralph. He can't wait to get out of here, he really hates being this close to humans. He stepped out of the building heading straight to his car. He held the door and pulled it open about to step in when a familiar scent hit his nose.

"Mate." His wolf growled, stirring within him.

He took his eyes around, scrutinizing the area before he shut the door close and turned around, heading out of the premises.

He walked down the hallway, stopping at a door and pushed it open, stepping into the room.

As soon as he walked into the room, the strong smell of cigarettes hit his nose hard making him let out a small cough at the unexpected smell.

"Derek." He called in acknowledgement, making the man sitting on the chair facing the window, swirling the chair around to face him with a cigarette between his fingers.

"Gregory." He called back with his brows raised.

Greg walked closer to him and placed his hand on the table. "We have a problem."

"And that is?" Derek asked with his brow raised, not even perturbed one bit.

"He's here. The Alpha." Greg revealed with shaky breaths.

Derek stared at him for a few seconds before matching the tip of the cigarette on the ashtray, turning it off. "How did you know that?"

Greg took a deep breath before explaining all that Dallas said to him.

A few seconds after Greg had finished explaining, Derek stared up at him with a smirk on his face. "Well, that's good."

"Good??" Greg stared down at him in shock. "What if he comes for us?"

Derek smirked harder, ignoring Greg disturbing whines. He knows the Alpha King well, he wouldn't fight for a human, talk more of kill, unless....

He let out a dry chuckle and smirked. He was going to do his findings.
