Chapter 9

     “If a werewolf bites a human,” The doctor said, putting his hands on Drake's shoulder sympathetically. “there is a high chance that the human will become one of their kind. Except for a fact that she has no symptoms of changing.”

     Drake's head fell on his hand in agony. He had one job, freaking one job that was to protect her from creatures like him and he couldn't even do that properly, he thought to himself. 

     Drake never cared about getting his powers back, hell he never cared enough about his own damn life, he only cared about one single person and after purposely staying away from her for so long, just to protect her for what? So she could get attacked by some creature, to be in a hospital bed after almost bitten dead by a werewolf.
