I woke up the next morning to the sound of birds chirping outside the window. I stretched and rolled over, expecting to find Cassian lying next to me. But the bed was empty, and I felt a pang of disappointment.

I sat up and looked around the room, taking in my surroundings. The room was large and spacious, with a huge window that let in the morning light. The bed was comfortable, and the sheets were soft and silky. It was perfect.

I climbed out of bed and walked over to the window, looking out at the beautiful gardens below. I could see people walking around, enjoying the morning sun. It was peaceful.

I turned away from the window and made my way to the bathroom, needing a shower. I turned on the water and stepped in, letting the hot water cascade down my body. I closed my eyes and let out a sigh, enjoying the feeling of the water on my skin.

I lost track of time as I stood there, my mind wandering as I thought about the night before. It had been amazing. Cassian was everything I had ever wanted in a mate. He was kind, loving, and passionate. I couldn't believe how lucky I was to have found him.

I finally turned off the water and stepped out of the shower, wrapping a towel around myself before heading back into the bedroom. I found a clean set of clothes laid out on the bed, and I quickly got dressed, eager to see Cassian again.

I made my way downstairs, my stomach growling as I smelled breakfast cooking. I followed the scent to the dining room, where I found Cassian sitting at the table, a plate of food in front of him.

He looked up as I entered the room and smiled, his eyes lighting up. "Good morning, my love," he said, standing up and pulling out a chair for me.

"Good morning," I replied, sitting down and grabbing a piece of toast. "Did you sleep well?"

He nodded, taking a bite of his eggs. "I did. I haven't slept that well in a long time."

I smiled and took a bite of my toast, savoring the taste. It was delicious.

We ate in silence for a while, just enjoying each other's company. I couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment wash over me. This was where I was meant to be. With Cassian.

When we finished eating, Cassian stood up and held out his hand. "Come with me. I want to show you something."

I took his hand and let him lead me out of the dining room and down a long hallway. We stopped in front of a large set of double doors, and Cassian pushed them open, revealing a beautiful library.

My eyes widened as I took in the sight before me. The room was filled with shelves of books, and there was a large fireplace in the center of the room. It was cozy and inviting.

"This is my favorite room in the whole house," Cassian said, leading me over to a large, comfortable-looking chair. "I thought you might like it too."

I smiled and sat down, running my hand over the arm of the chair. "It's amazing. I've never seen so many books in one place."

Cassian sat down on the arm of the chair and wrapped his arm around my shoulders. "You can read any of them you want. They're all yours."

I leaned into him, feeling grateful for his thoughtfulness. "Thank you, Cassian. This is perfect."

He pressed a kiss to the top of my head and smiled. "Anything for you, my love."

We spent the rest of the day exploring the mansion and the grounds. Cassian showed me the gardens, the stables, and even the training grounds where his pack practiced their fighting skills. I was in awe of everything. It was like a dream come true.

As the sun started to set, Cassian led me back to our room, where he had a romantic dinner waiting for us. We ate by candlelight, our conversation flowing easily as we got to know each other even better.

After dinner, Cassian led me over to the bed, his eyes full of love and desire. I could feel my body responding to his touch, and I knew that tonight was going to be just as amazing as the night before.

He undressed me slowly, his hands caressing every inch of my body as he removed my clothes. I did the same to him, my hands trembling with anticipation as I revealed his muscular chest and toned abs.

I woke up the next morning to the sound of someone knocking on the door. I opened my eyes and sat up, rubbing the sleep from my eyes. Cassian was already up and getting dressed, a smile on his face as he looked over at me.

"Good morning, my love," he said, walking over to the bed and pressing a kiss to my forehead. "Are you ready for today?"

I nodded and climbed out of bed, stretching my arms above my head. "What's on the agenda for today?"

Cassian grinned and handed me a stack of clothes. "We're going to get breakfast, I figured it wouldn't hurt to get to know more than just eachothers bodies today." A wry smile gracing his lips.

I quickly got dressed and followed Cassian out of the room and down the stairs. We made our way to the dining room, where a delicious breakfast was waiting for us. We sat down and ate in comfortable silence, just enjoying each other's company.

After breakfast, Cassian took me on a tour of the pack lands. We walked through the forest, hand in hand, as he pointed out different landmarks and told me stories about the pack's history. I was fascinated by everything he had to say, and I loved getting to know more about his pack.

We eventually made our way to a beautiful lake, where Cassian had a picnic set up for us. We sat down on a blanket and enjoyed the delicious food, talking and laughing as we watched the sun reflect off the water.

As the day went on, I couldn't help but feel a sense of peace wash over me. I was exactly where I was meant to be. With Cassian.

When the sun started to set, Cassian led me back to the mansion and up to our room. He lit some candles and turned on some soft music, creating a romantic atmosphere.

He pulled me into his arms and started to dance, his body pressed against mine as we moved to the music. I rested my head on his chest and closed my eyes, just enjoying the moment.

Feeling at real peace for the first time in years I decided to be brave. "Cass, there's something I need to tell you."
