The car ride was silent and awkward. I didn't like it, so I kept tapping my hand on my thighs, hoping that Agar would say something. When I was sure he wouldn't, I spoke first.

"Uhh, so this is my first time leaving the country" I said smiling. I was really eager to leave the country.

I texted Jane and told her about it. She had advised that I take pictures and post them on all my socials so that my ex would be jealous. I didn't think of that before, so I saw it as a very good idea.

"Did Lucian threaten you?" I asked and he remained quiet.
