Delilah's POV:

With silent footsteps, he started walking like he knew every crook and corner of the wood. I followed him closely, feeling much safer now. I never even questioned in my mind about where he was taking me. Why and when had I started trusting this man so much?

Xee remained quiet and walked silently. His footsteps weren't even making any sound as he padded on the ground. After a few minutes of hushed walking, he took me to a clearing and then finally turned around.

His intense gaze didn't waver from me as he took off his robe and threw it over a lower branch. He was wearing a royal blue dress shirt and black pants. He was looking so handsome in that attire. The way his shirt was hugging his chest tightly, enunciating the muscles beneath was so mouth-watering. I actually refrained from checking the drool pooling out of my mouth.
