A gasp escaped my cracked lips and the rag cloth fell out of my hand.

What did he call me? His possession?

I shook my head, trying to assimilate what Xander just said.

“Alpha Xander!” Aurora shrieked, wincing and rubbing her left arm. She staggered up to her feet and wheezed towards them. She clasped her hands around Xander’s bulky abs, trying to push him away from Salvador.

“You will kill him!” Aurora shouted, tugging on Xander’s arm. Xander grabbed her hair with one of his hands, the other hand still fixed on Sabastian’s little neck and his eyes burned him up alive. He tossed Aurora away like a feather and she slammed her back on the wine cellar, spewing out blood.

Sabastian’s pale hands wriggled around Xander’s arms. I watched his pupils dilate and roll up horrifyingly. His tongue stuck out as he fought to suck in some air.
