“What is happening, father? Why am I all dolled up today and why am I dressed in this slutty outfit?”

“I'm selling you off, Annabel. You're getting sold.”

“What!” I blurted out in shock. "S...sold off? I..I don't get it, why would you want to do that to me father? I haven't done anything to deserve this!" I half yelled, my eyes stung with unshed tears.

I have no idea what I have ever done wrong to my father, for as long as I can remember, my father has never shown me any love or care. I used to think that it was probably because I had no wolf and was an omega, but shouldn't a parent love their own child, I am his own flash and blood after all, but I am treated much worse than a slave, despite the fact that I was the daughter of an Alpha, I was never given any respect, my father made sure to reduce my status to that of a slave, making me the center of mockery.

I was bullied by everyone in the pack and seen as nothing but a weak omega and a tool for others to abuse and make fun of, life in my own pack was like a living hell, but what hurt the most was the hatred my own father has shown me. It wouldn't have mattered to me if the whole world hates me and I had the love of just one person, my father, but instead of loving me, he was my biggest hater and tormentor.

I spent years doing everything possible to gain the love of my father, even if it was just a little bit of love, but at some point I got to realize that no matter what I do or how much I behaved like a loyal dog, I would never get to experience the love I had always wished and craved for. In the end, I gave up hoping, I stopped wishing, I stopped dreaming and simply accepted my fate which was a bitter one.

It was today that I got to see just how much my father hated me, but I couldn't accept this, didn't want to be sold off, yes my life here wasn't a bed of roses, but I prefer to keep on suffering in my pack than go to a place I have no idea of how my life would be. I can't accept this.

I fell to my knees and grabbed the hem of my father's garment, crying and pleading for him not to do this to me.

"Please father, I will do anything, I don't mind the fact that I'm being treated as a slave, I have never complained for once father, please don't sell me off, I'll rather be a slave in my own pack than be sold to someone else. Please reconsider your decision father, I'm begging you, you are my father after all." I cried bitterly.

My father roughly kicked me away. "Crying and begging will do nothing to solve this case, my mind has been made up, my decision is final and nothing you do or say can't change that, I don't care if you cry a river right now." He spat. "Rather than doing all this, continue being the loyal dog that you are and simply do as you're told, I regret having a daughter like you, you're a disgrace to me! I should have ended your life a long time ago."

Hearing those words broke my heart to pieces. "Father." I called in a whisper as hot tears flowed uncontrollably down my cheeks.

"I'll have someone come get you, so get ready, you'll be sold to the highest bidder." He said before leaving, not sparing me a single glance.

I curled myself in a ball as I cried my eyes out. Where have I gone wrong? What was my offense? The only thing I have done wrong was existing, yes, I shouldn't have been born, my father was right.

The door to my room suddenly opened, two maids walked in and stood before me, knowing they were here for me, I simply stood up.

I looked down at the slutty dress I was putting on, the dress was barely down her thighs and my butt was left for the Alphas to peek at.

Both maids took each of my hand and led me to the auction center.

The moment I was put on stage, all the Alphas present began cheering loudly, most of them stood up and began touching me inappropriately, I cried and tried pushing them away, but that only resulted to more coming for their own fun.

My eyes scanned the crowd in search of my father, this wasn't right, the auction hasn't even started and I was already being treated like this.

My eyes met with that of a particular Alpha and I felt a spark, but before I had the chance to comprehend what has just happened, he left the hall.

Few moments after he left, I heard shooting from all angles.

"Ahhh.." I screamed in fear as people fell to my feet in a pool of blood, their own blood.

I had no idea what was going on, but I knew I couldn't stay here, I was about running away when someone suddenly grabbed my arm and dragged me outside.

I couldn't recognize the man who was taking me away, but when we got outside, he suddenly stopped and I came face to face with the Alpha who had made my heart flutter.

We both stared at each other for what felt like ages to me and I was mesmerized by how handsome he looked, staring at him alone was enough to give me butterflies, but whatever trance I was into suddenly broke when he brought out a gun and pointed it directly at me.

I was so shocked and surprised by this, I instantly closed my eyes, my eyes pounding in my chest and my whole body trembling with fear as I waited for him to end my life.

I heard a loud gunshot, but when I felt nothing, I slowly opened my eyes to see my father standing in front of me and shielding me with his body.

My eyes widen with shock when I saw that he had took the bullet meant for me, the same man who hated me had protected me today, he sacrificed himself for me.

My father groaned in pains as he slowly dropped to his knees, his eyes not leaving mine.

"Father!!" I screamed in tears.
