I left Andrew’s room to freshen up and was about to enter my room when I sighted madam rose speaking with Adrian in the kitchen.

Madam rose told me she was going to visit a diviner to know if what’s happening to Andrew has anything to do with black magic. She feels like Andrew wolf was controlled, but she was mistaken since the doctor confirmed it was poisoning.

When did she come back? And what are they talking about? I have never seen them together in this palace before, and I have never seen Adrian in the kitchen.

The less I try not to suspect Adrian, the more he does things that are suspicious. I retraced my steps, walking towards the kitchen. I need to hear what they are talking about.

“He said this was bound to happen, and we can’t change destiny, we can only watch how it plays out. Anna coming here was for a reason.” Madam rose said.

Whose destiny? What was bound to happen? The more I stand here eavesdropping, the more confusing I get.

“I really don’t believe all t
