Chapter 60Finally, the day of the mating came and every preparation had been made. Elders and associates with some other important people were already present in the hall waiting for the mates. Jake stood in front of the mirror gazing at himself. He was looking all handsome as always but the celebration was what he never wanted. He scoffed. If it hadn't been for his father then everything would have been distinguished. Just then, a knock came on Jake's door and Sarah who was helping him out rushed to open up the door. Pulling the door lobe, her gape met with Rhonda, Diva's maid who was carrying a pad with some golden bangles placed on it. She and Rhonda both eyed each other before Rhonda pushed her out the door for her to get in. Sarah became furious as her eyes followed Rhonda inside the room. She wished she could get a hold of her and warn her never to act that way to her but she kept her cool since they were not alone. She knew Jake might want to take his mistress' maid's side.

Chapter 61Jake veered his face to Diva, his eyes switching from his normal eyes colour to the colour of his wolf eyes. Diva bent her head to avoid his gaze and she was left to whimper as the priest came to release the white piece of cloth that had bonded their hands together.Jake didn't wait for the fabric to be fully removed when he jerked his hands away and ran down the altar to join the fight. Within a seconds, he had shifted into his wolf and he roared violently shooting the dead of the day. Almost all the shifters joined in the dispute including pups that were strong enough to face the battle. The fight went on and on and since the rogues had come into their territory, they were not up to the pack's standard. Even when they were caught unexpectedly, Eclipse pack made sure they made brutal damage to the unknown rogues. It was surprising and fascinating to see that rogues had come to terrorize their pack when they knew that fighting a great pack would lead them to their death.

Chapter 62Immediately after the fight, Jake hurried his way to the dungeon. He was grateful that they had caught one of the rogues even when he hadn't told his father he did. He needed to see the rogue and question him because he knew if his father found out he got a rogue, he would take on huge labour to deal with the rogue to let him talk. When the guards in the dungeon saw him coming, they opened the dungeon gate to let him in. He requested their leader and he was called out. "Where did you put the rogue?"
