Ella's POV

"What does this have to do with you?" My throat was dry, attempting to intimidate Luke. "Let me go, I already have a mate."

"Mate? Who is he?" Luke paused in undressing.

"He is..." I recalled Kevin, and strangely, I missed him at this moment. "He's a powerful male wolf. So, put your clothes back on, and don't touch me."

Luke laughed, removing his shirt, revealing his bare chest. "It doesn't matter who he is. Even if I take away your virginity, he can't do anything to me. I am the Alpha's son, and there is no woman I can't have. So, Anna, don't try to resist. Your wolf wants to mate, and you want me too, right?"

Then he leaned down, kissing my lips, and my eyes widened.

A loud bang, a sound of mechanical collision, startled both Luke and me. In a daze, I felt someone barging in, a familiar scent filling my nose. At the same time, a powerful force sent Luke flying, crashing into the bed frame.

"Damn it," Luke cursed, but a hand grabbed his throat, dragging him off the b
