Alexander's POV

Watching those kids leave wasn't the best time for me. They were actually fun and didn't give me issues.

'That's funny. I thought you didn't like kids,' my wolf teased.

I liked kids but the ones I've met were just too much for me to handle. How would something so small be so fast and destructive too?

It was still early outside, a perfect time for me to go for a run. When last did I even run? Since we moved to this pack, I hadn't been as organized as I'd liked.

Oh shit. I hadn't called Amarok in ages.

I dialed his number immediately.

"Your Highness," came my beta's voice from the other end.

"Amarok, how's the pack doing?" I went straight to the point.

"Everything is going well, Your Highness. The renovations of the palace will soon be finished."

"Good. What about the shelter house for the omegas? Is it ready?"
