71- Alexander (Part I)

Third person pov:

Alexander was cutting the wood with an axe and could feel the giggling of the girls around him. But he didn’t pay much attention and kept doing the job. He had to sell the wood before evening to get some groceries for his little family.

Just him and his mom.

Ignoring the sweat trickling down his face, he raised his strong arms gripping the axe tightly, and brought it down onto the wood with a thud when a beautiful woman came out of the small hut and stood there with a smile.

He stopped and threw a glance at his mom, “Aren’t you going to the Market to buy groceries, mother?” He placed the axe down and sat on the stack of logs at a side.

Instead of answering, his mother kept looking at him. They had made it too far. He was exactly how she wanted him to be.

Strong, educated, and empathetic.

She had been doing a lot of hard work to give him the education, he deserved. Staying hungry for long hours was not easy but she did it so that she could provide t
