He frowned and scoffed before looking back at the babies in their special units. They had been born a month too early, but after Lorna's examination, they were just fine.

And yes, HE had delivered the babies himself. The memory and what actually happened was hazy in his memory because it was like he was working on auto control when it had happened.

The first baby was all cleaned up before Lorna arrived and when she came, Anna was passed out. So while some healers took over cleaning the second child, Lorna had checked in on Anna and she said, "Critical condition. The babies were too strong for her spirit. If they had remained in any longer, they would have killed her."
