I looked at Damon and Darian.their expression wasn’t cold anymore.They looked relieved that I was signing this contract.

I looked at Zael who was now asleep on the couch behind the counter.At Zara who laid next to him.At the way they didn’t even flinch when Damon touched them.When did they become so used to monsters?

30 minutes later.Linda was on my couch. Going through the contract,her glasses on.she wasn’t playing.

“In the event of primary caregiver’s death or incapacitation,full custody reverts to Biological fathers and their legal wife.”
