Chapter 56

Ramsey's POV

At first, I could not believe my ears. Astra, my mate, was pregnant?

"Healer," I spoke up, moving closer to the man. "Are you sure about this?"

"As sure as I can be, alpha." The Healer beamed, then reached out and grabbed my hand, squeezing it in a handshake. "Congratulations, alpha!"

"Congratulations, alpha!" The guards and maids that were with us in the room all echoed. Some of them even stepped forward, shaking my hands and offering different variations of their congratulations.

I could not contain the joy I felt within me at the news. It was as though a spark of hope had come alive inside of me, chasing all the lurking dark thoughts away and warming me all over.

Finally, I thought. The Moon Goddess had blessed my mate and I with something that would finally complete us as a family. A mini Astra and I.

My joy knew no bounds.

When the rounds of felicitations were over, I turned back to the physician. "So how is she now? When will she open her eyes?"

The physician glanc
