Chapter 74: Home

While on our way to the airport, Nicholas called Captain Omar and told him to prepare our flight. The way he talked, you would assume he was in a fight with someone. 

I understood his pain but it was for the greater good. When I finally convinced my mom to consider our relationship again, I could spend weeks with him in his parents' house. 

Elizabeth thought we were going to the public airport but when she saw Nicholas driving us to a remote area she asked where we were heading to, "I thought we are going to the main airport?" she added. 

"No, I brought a plane. We are going to an abandoned airstrip, that's where our plane is" he said increasing the speed of the car. 

"Wow big bro, I never knew you have a plane?" she sarcastically uttered. 

"No, it's not mine" he robotically replied her. 

"Your friend's?" she asked. 

"No, hired!" he said and then urged her to allow him to focus on the road bec
