His Soft Side

Mondrei slowly turned to Lany and their eyes met again. They stared at each other for a while and this time, it seemed like there was no trace of anger in her. He can see it through her eyes even if she doesn't tell him about it.

"I'm asking what really happened between your parents and the leader of our pack back then," Lany continued when she heard no response from Mondrei. "Please enlighten me because I don't know what really happened during those times. Or else, you want me to hate you forever without even knowing your side."

Mondrei still didn't answer. He just started to walk closer to Lany as he felt a little relieved because he seemed to see hope that she would forgive him when she heard his side.
