Knox walked passed him to a chair and pat it, “Sit! I can let you watch but you can't touch her for a week, remember?”

Rakel blinked when he realized Knox wasn't headed in his direction. His racing heart began to slow. Goodness! He can't believe he's thinking like this. He needs to shift and run so he could clear his mind. It felt strange being around Knox because it was messing with his head in ways he couldn't describe. He could sense the shift in their relationship since the two of them made some type of agreement to work together because of Delaney. What he doesn't know is if it's a good kind of shift or a bad kind. It seems he has become a bit dependent on the vampire which he needs to stop.

"You are free to walk out if you don't want to sit..." Knox said snapping him out of his thought. He begrudgingly went to sit at a corner hating that he was only allowed to watch and not participate. He will surely get back at the vamp for his pending blue balls he's going to suffer this we
