At the Hybrids hideout, Ivy awoke from her slumber two days later with her throat burning from hunger. Luckily, Ava already prepared some bagged blood for her. She immediately started gulping it down as if her life depended on it.

Ava stood there watching as she took one, two, and finally the last one. Ivan was also in the room, and he approached Ivy with concern on his face. However, just as he was about to approach her, Ivy looked up at him, and he froze. There was a tinge of red in her eyes making him pause because he has never seen such a look before.
