The Hybrid Queen!

They've been walking for five good minutes. Five! For some reason, Delaney began feeling uneasy. Her intuition told her something wasn't right, but she couldn't pinpoint what it was. She cast another glance at the maid in front of her and decided to inquire, “How much longer?”

Delaney's brows creased as the maid disregarded her and continued walking. Her unease grew even stronger. The fact that they took a silent path didn't help matters; there was no one in sight to seek for help if something went wrong. "I said, how much longer to get snow garden?" she hurriedly said, her palm clamming down on the maid.

The maid avoided her gaze, “I'm sorry miss, it doesn't take up to two minutes for we vampires, but you...”

Delaney frown. Despite the maid's reasonable statements, she couldn't shake the feeling that something wasn't quite right. It's been two hours since she left her mates; shouldn't they have eaten by now? If And if they have, it doesn't make sense that they'd arrange for her to
