Steal a kiss

The next morning, Alexandra had woken up at the brink of dawn. Her vision greeted the sleeping man on the antique sofa, facing the ceiling with his arm resting on his steadily heaving chest. She threw the blanket off her body, a cold gust spread over, goosebumps broke out on her sensitive skin. 

She shifted to the wide-open Balcony door, another gust of wind invaded through the open space. 

Still, in her pyjamas, she walked up to follow the fresh air. Dusky Indigo sky above her veiled the light, but not completely. It was enough for her sharp eyes to scan the vast property.

Her hot breath tangled with the cold air, forming a white cloud. Since these past few nights, her sleep had improved, unplagued by nightmares and recurring bad memories. Is it because her appetite was back? Or is it because her body is at the recovering stage?
