Helena was already on her way to her own pad while thinking about Louis, who paid her a visit. She wanted to think that he might have brought important news, but he decided to see her in person instead.

On her way there, Bruno suddenly blocked her way and grinned at her, showing a snack, which made her eyes widen, and she chuckled right away.

“An ice cream in this cold place?” She asked as she laughed since she found it hilarious while taking it from his hand.

“Well, we could tolerate its coldness, and who cares if ice cream is cold? It’s still delicious, you know,” Bruno said as he put his hands in his pockets and stood next to her as they walked together slowly.

Helena only smiled and licked the ice cream as Bruno walked her to her pad.

“So… how’s your first day?” He asked curiously.

“Well, it was actually nice. I had fun listening to my first subject.”

“Hmm. Do you have expectations? Which classification in the future would you want to belong to?”

“I actually want any of it. I’m fine with anything, but maybe I might fit in C since A and B seem like I wouldn’t survive it. I’m not really good at combat fighting and in any shooting,” she chuckled lightly.

“Who knows? You might be in a or b. Besides, the subject’s aim is to teach us and enhance our skills for the future classifications. Even if you are bad at all of them and have no knowledge at first, you will soon figure things out,” he said and smiled.

Helena smiled and licked her ice cream again, feeling a little bit excited about what classification she would be in.

“And how about you? What classification do you want to achieve?” She asked.

“Hmm…both a and b?”

Her eyes widened in disbelief. “Is it possible?”

“Yes. Actually, there were wolves with two and three classifications. Having two classifications also signified that you might be an alpha, while the three are somehow the most powerful classifications out there because you have it all—not just physically, but also mentally, you know.”

“Wow. I think they’re too powerful to even think about it. Do they still exist? ”She asked.

“Some of them have two classifications, which still exist nowadays since it was the hardest to achieve during this time, but the three classifications are now considered impossible.”

“So… those who have three classifications were already dead?”

“Well, there is still one existing in the record.” He smiled.

“Who?”

“Alpha Louis.”

Helena’s jaw dropped. She knows how powerful he is knowing that he is also the head of the wolves, but to know that he had three of the classifications screams how extraordinary he is as an alpha.

“He isn’t just the normal alpha, you know. He is powerful. His own wolf has two different personalities. The dark angel and the white demon. The dark angel, which is the white wolf with black eyes, is quite deadly, which we rarely see as his own transformation that he doesn’t really use, while he always sticks to his white demon, which is the black wolf with white eyes, since it is more behaved and controllable than the other one that seems destructive and untamable. A wild beast.”

She got a shiver from hearing it. She never knew that she would hear another side of Louis that she had no idea about, and it was so amusing but at the same time scary that an alpha could possess such great wolves that are different from what she knows.

“Isn’t the white demon more scary than the dark angel?” She asked.

“If you think it is less scary because it is named after an angel, but it’s not. It was bloodier than you imagine. Maybe it was also the reason why the Montville remained on top because no one has ever surpassed Alpha Louis’ power. Those clans knew that choosing to become his enemies was such a wrong move.”

She is now wondering if the Adams even tried to stand against the Montville since, as far as she remembers, their clan is one of the powerful bloodlines in the town of Emerald Ville as well.

“So it’s pretty dangerous for an angel like you to be paired with Alpha Louis, you know. I cannot imagine it,” he laughed as they both stopped in front of the door of Helena’s pad.

“It was for our family’s sake,” she explained.

“But… do you like him romantically?” He asked.

“Uh…I…don’t know really. I’m still trying to get over my coma, and my memory is messing up with me. I wanted to recover those first before entering into a serious relationship with someone else.”

Somehow, Bruno’s face lightened.

“So… does that mean that you just agreed to the agreement because you wanted to help your family, not because you are attracted to Alpha Louis?”

Helena nodded. “Uh, yes. I find him too intense, and some of my types are…”

“Friendly and gentlemen, right? You told the girls about it during pottery making,” he added right away.

Helena laughed and nodded. Bruno smiled beamly as he looked at her with his sparkling eyes.

“Well, it’s really nice to meet you here, Helena. I am glad that Alpha Louis decided to let you join the camp and experience these things.

Helena smiled as well. “I am happy to be here too.”

“Well…I hope…you stayed more longer and…” his voice trailed off for a while as he licked his lips, but before he could even utter the word, the door suddenly opened, which made them both surprised.

Bruno’s eyes widened when he saw Louis materialize right in front of them inside the pad of Helena. He cleared his throat and composed himself right away.

“Alpha Louis…”

Louis only looked at him and then looked at Helena.

“What’s taking you long to enter?” He asked.

“Oh, we are still talking, and… I didn’t know you were waiting inside.”

Louis opened the door even more, coaxing her to come in. Helena glanced at Bruno, who had already stepped backward, ready to leave, as he just forced a smile on Helena.

“Thank you for the ice cream again, Bruno.”

“You’re welcome, Helena. See you in class…”

Helena nodded and smiled. Bruno looked at Alpha Louis and nodded slowly. Louis didn’t bother responding as he closed the door shut.

Helena cleared her throat and went straight to the sofa as she put her things there. Her fireplace was already lit up, and she is suspecting Louis has been there for a long time now that he got the time to do it while waiting.

“You’re here,” are her first words, as she doesn’t know what to really say.

Louis grabbed the empty chair and looked at Helena, and she immediately got the signal that he wanted her to sit there. So she walked toward him and occupied the seat until her eyes dropped on the round table with food that she didn’t expect.

“It’s a lot,” she said.

“I haven’t eaten breakfast yet,” he pointed out and occupied the other seat, rolled up the sleeves of his white shirt, and took the utensils.

She cleared her throat. “Why? Is there a problem?”

“I just want to check on you since it’s your first day,” he said while starting to touch his food.

Helena’s mind immediately recalled the girls’ conclusion to Louis’ reason for visiting her. And she was expecting heavy news, knowing he hasn’t eaten breakfast yet, and she felt like there was more to it.

“Oh, is there a problem?” She repeated.

“Do you have troubles lately while you are here?” He asked.

She shook her head since she was enjoying every moment of her life in the camp and felt like she had found the perfect place to stay.

“None so far, actually.”

“Then there’s none. Anna is quite bothered since you are left here alone, so I did her a favor and checked on you.”

Yeah…that’s it. He is here for that reason. Because Anna is worried for me and she cannot go here, that’s why Louis did her a favor.

She started touching her food too, but there is something that she isn’t comfortable about. She felt like the reason was just too petty that she wanted more evidence to justify the judgments of the girls.

“What else?” She asked.

Louis leaned against his seat while chewing slowly. She realized that it was the first time she had to eat with him closely, just the small space between them because of the small round table of her pad, unlike the long table in the mansion, and she had closely seen the magnificent color of his eyes.

“I want to see you as well. Is there a problem about that?”

There was a sudden tug in her heart that she felt like her breath stopped for a while. She could not even respond right away, like there was a sudden slowmotion happening, and she could not barely process his words.

“Oh, there’s…uh, n-nothing wrong,” she stuttered.

Louis took the pitcher off the table and poured her a glass of orange juice and pushed it slightly toward her.

“Drink. Your voice is shaking.”

She cleared her throat and immediately did it while her cheeks were now completely blushing. Louis just poured her a drink. She doesn’t even know if she is making a big deal out of it or if it is a big deal because it was Alpha Louis Montville after all.

“I’ll come here often…” Louis added which made her cough on her drink.
