After Marriage

"We can't let her smile happily, Mom!" Sofia said to her mother.

"Take it easy, dear! Even if it's a holy wedding. I'll make sure she's not happy today," Elena replied with a glance at Camille.

Today was the wedding ceremony between Camille and Arthur, where they had also officially become a couple, Alpha and Luna.

"You're beautiful, Mille." Said Susan, one of the Omegas of the Shadow Moon Pack and also Camille's best friend.

"Thank you, Susan. I'm really nervous, all eyes will be on me and Alpha Arthur. I'm not used to that, Susan."

"You have to get used to it, Mille. I mean Luna Camille," Susan said with a grin, "You'll be the center of attention after this, believe me it's awesome!" She continued.

Then the make-up artist and fashion stylist who was doing Camille's make-up, and who had done Camille's make-up at the first meeting with Alpha Arthur's family. He was a charming man, chimed in.

"Luna Camille, you have more to worry about than the looks people are giving you today."

"What is it?" Camille asked the makeup and fashion stylist.

"Your sister-in-law and mother-in-law, you have to be careful with both of them, because I believe they are and will be plotting against you today." He said again.

Camille just smiled, "That's normal, let it go. I don't like to argue and fight with anyone, but thanks for the advice".

Suddenly, the sound of the door opening was heard and sure enough, Luna Elena and Sofia entered Camille's room.

Suddenly, the make-up artist and Susan the Omega were surprised.

"Oh Goddes! How long have you been preparing for this, Camille? You have no idea how long Alpha Arthur has been waiting for you at the altar!" said Luna Elena.

"Don't blame Luna Camille, Luna Elena. It's all my fault that I was too slow to dress her." The make-up artist defended Camille.

Luna Elena just stared sarcastically and pursed her lips.

"Then let her get dressed up. Alpha Arthur is waiting," said Sofia.

"But, Luna Elena. I didn't give Luna Camille any lipstick. She'll look pale with just her natural lip color," the make-up artist said again.

"Leave it! It's a formality anyway. You better get this right, my hair! My appearance is more important because many of the higher-ups know me and will talk to me later," Luna Elena said as she asked the make-up artist to just do her hair.

Camille tried not to protest and gave the makeup artist a code that she was okay with it. It's okay to look imperfect, Camille thought.

Camille was soon joined by Susan.

Although her makeup looked very natural and her lips were lipstick free. However, the natural red color on her lips was quite attractive.

"Are you sure you can handle living with a mother-in-law like Luna Elena?" asked Susan, accompanying Camille's steps and holding up her flowing white dress.

They walked to the altar where the wedding ceremony would take place.

However, as they walked to the altar, Luna Camille's body suddenly twisted. Now she wolf inside her wanted to take over Camille.

"You look so pale, that cruel Luna Elena, your mother-in-law. It's your special occasion and of course you have to look your best, Camille!" she said.

Nessie, Camille's wolf.

"Let it go, Nessie. I only want to be attractive to Alpha Arthur anyway."

"You have to stay alert today, for some reason I feel uneasy, as if I realize that your mother-in-law and sister-in-law are planning something bad," Nessie explained again.

Camille just smiled, as if she didn't want to think too much about things that hadn't happened yet, and soon she was standing in front of the altar. Sure enough, all eyes were on her now.

Camille has no parents anymore. So this time she didn't take anyone's hand. She just walked with Susan behind her, holding her dress.

Meanwhile, Alpha Arthur looked very happy, radiating from his smile and also from his soft eyes as he looked at Camille.

Long story short, the wedding ceremony was over and now Alpha Arthur and Luna Elena were officially a married couple, recognized by the state and also by the pack.

A few hours after the event was over. Camille was sitting in the dining room with Alpha Arthur's family.

"You must honeymoon soon and give me grandchildren, the heir of this pack," said Elder Jhonas, aka Alpha Arthur's grandfather.

"Too soon, Elder. I want to enjoy some romantic times with her. Not think about when to start having children," Alpha Arthur said.

"Alpha Arthur is right, Elder. Being a parent is not easy and you have to be prepared for everything," Luna Elena chimed in.

"We need an heir for this pack after Alpha Arthur, Elena," Elder Jhonas said.

"Come on, Arthur is still very young. Having a child soon might put a damper on his dreams, after all he still has a long way to go as Alpha of this pack." Luna told Elena.

Camille knew that her mother-in-law probably didn't want to have a grandchild born from her womb, a lowly Omega.

"Before this marriage happened, I actually came and asked a Seer to see Camille in the future. He said that Camille would have a son," Elder Jhonas suddenly explained, leaving them all stunned.

A look of disbelief crossed Luna Elena's face. She didn't want Camille to usurp the position of Crown Princess.

"Mom. I think we should take care of that old fart. Because he will be our obstacle to make Camille and Arthur separate!" Sofia whispered to Elena.

"You're right, I'll try to take care of old Elder," Elena said while looking at Elder Jhonas.

Alpha Arthur, noticing the tension between them, spoke up.

"Elder, Mother, Sofia. I hope this time you will let us live our lives as we wish. I want to enjoy our time together without your interference." Arthur explained.

"I was only suggesting," Elder Jhonas replied.

Arthur nodded with a smile as he gently rubbed his grandfather's shoulder.

Then Luna Elena suddenly stood up, "It's a waste of time to discuss things that aren't certain. I'd better get some rest because today's party is quite exhausting, don't you think, Sofia?" said Luna Elena in a sarcastic tone.

Sofia followed Luna Elena out of the dining room without finishing the food on her plate.

"Right, Mom. I've already lost my appetite from talking about it anyway," Sofia said with a sardonic look at Camille, who could only look down.
