Mandy's POV: (A/N: Her first POV I hope you don't mind. 😫)I didn't know how long it started but I was always envious of Alison. We are good friends not until I found out about the engagement between her and David. I was mad and it seriously drives me nuts whenever she's close to my mate. We haven't told her yet that we have been secretly dating for almost a year now. I went to David and asked him about it but he's a coward he can't go against his filthy father's words. The only thing that keeps me sane is the fact that he already imprinted me. We wanted to tell them before the marriage but I got another idea. Instead of telling them, we should get rid of them. I clutched the chair as I scribbled my plans in my notebook. I stopped and looked around my tiny room. This was nothing compared to Alison's room. She had everything. A nice, caring, and loving parent while I got my useless father who is always drunk from the loss of my mother. She's wealthy and so when we graduate I bet sh
Mandy's POV:The contest was in a few more days and my plans are all ready. I bought the wolfsbane during weekends and I went to a town far away from us. I close my phone so I won't be hearing David's nagging. He keeps asking if I'm falling for Lucius. I'm not really into him I'm just seeking my revenge through him. 'It is all according to my plans and if I manage to get wolfsbane then I will be happy.'I already bought it I'm just waiting for the delivery. When the notification popped into my phone I immediately went to the town I put in the delivery address. I'm just glad that even if it came from another country it came in time before the contest. I received money from David so money is less of my problem now. I soon reached the town of Lakome and was a little bit early for the delivery. It took me only two hours since I took the bus.My phone started vibrating and my lively ringtone started singing. I swiped up to see the notification that it will be in my doorway soon. Ten minut
Mandy's POV:The next day we had to go to school to camp for the contest. David and I are in the same section so we went together. Everyone was already busy when we arrived. Most of the participants are still in their classrooms since it is still early. Our class President was shouting because of some nerd who couldn't get his lines done. He was nervous since the play will be tomorrow, and so is my grand plan. I started doing my makeup as well, getting ready for my role. I went downstairs to check my costume when Alison and I bumped into each other. The look of disgust on her face is so visible she doesn't care if someone sees her. I am the star, of course, the lead role of the white swan was the best, and only I deserve it. The boys from another section passed by together with Lucius. They got another boy tucked away. There seems to be an incident but is it an incident? My mind was focused elsewhere. I know to myself that Alison won't just stand there and do nothing that's why I hav
David's POV:Six years ago.......Through the lush green forest, the wind blew peacefully through my whole body. The howls of our clan proudly shout as if to call the gods. A starless night yet it seems the whole surrounding is as bright as it was in the day. "Don't stay too long outside, David. You're still a puppy you might get blown by the night breeze hahaha..." The first shifters laughed as soon as Holo finished his insults. For an Alpha, I was a bit small and wimpy. That's why my father works so hard to keep our place as the leader of the clan by fighting off contenders. One day I will inherit it all that's why I'm also trying hard to keep up. I went outside to run beside my father, as the first shifters recently showed up. He was training them since it will be difficult for them. I was still ten years old and could barely keep up with their stamina."One day I will be as big and strong as my Papa. Hmpf" I sneered at them as I ran back to the forest. "Oh, we didn't mean to be
Alison's POV:It was a dark place. Cold, Wet, and it felt like the cave I was in after I died. Recalling the things that happened to me when I opened my eyes again, I silently wept. "Why are you back again my child?" someone asked. Their voice was familiar and yet unknown for some reason. However, unlike other Alphas this voice felt like I could die if I mock it. Since I couldn't find the source of that voice I answered."Who are you? Where am I?" I was shockingly calm and yet I can't bring myself to be surprised. "I can't answer the first question and neither is the second one. So forgive me." It was soft as if it was whispering in my ears. I should be panicking but I can't help but feel relaxed. "You need to wake up though. I can save you this time, but to save you again after this..." It seems he is hesitating to tell me. Strangely it was like Deja Vu for me. I remained silent waiting for that person to talk again. The stillness was making me agitated since he didn't talk for a
Alison's POV :Streets are filled with scary, weird, and noisy decorations as well as the houses of the humans who celebrate this holiday called Halloween. Children are running around with pumpkin-like baskets as they put makeup and other stuff to look scary. But they actually look cute, especially those who try to imitate us werewolves. The fur isn't too convincing as well as the nose but their howl could pass the standards of a newly shifted one. On the other hand, I like dressing up as a vampire. My friend from the vampire community always gets mad whenever I put on long fangs and capes. It was always hilarious to see him get upset over these things. But this time I wasn't wearing a vampire costume. Instead, my classmates put me in a mermaid costume. The tail can be split so it would look like a gown when I stand up. Oh, I forgot to mention we are having a party at school tonight. The human students were so adamant about hosting one year that it became a tradition in this town."D
Alison's POV : Firm arms surrounded my waist and pulled me into a back hug. I gasped at the impact but chills filled me as soon as I inhaled that sweet scent. "Don't you think it's enough? Tonight is a night of celebration. Why are you so persistent on ruining it?" His low voice whispered in my left ear. I jumped forward to avoid him and quickly defended myself. "What the heck, Lucius why did you do that?" Averting his gaze just to make sure he doesn't see my already beet-red face. "Stop bothering people Alison. Don't you have something else to do? You're wasting your time bullying others why don't you just go and dance with me?" he said as he quickly looked away. Although the flickering of lights overshadows his features I could see that he's flustered. He realized what he said and hid his face with his left hand. I couldn't help but laugh as he childishly hides his embarrassment. "So you are telling me I am crashing this party and you are inviting me for a dance is that it?" I
Alison's POV :One week after the Halloween party it became silent. Although there was the usual banter of my friends it felt like the world lost its color. I tried hiding the misery I was feeling with a mask of happiness but still, it wasn't enough. There are times I would lock myself in my bedroom refusing to see anyone including my friends when they visit. It felt like I lost something important to me. The other half of me. All thanks to my stupid idea of choosing revenge over my true mate. My Omega refuses to communicate with me anymore and it causes fluctuations in my moods. I learned Lucius left the town that night I rejected him through David. How ironic it was to reject someone only to crave them when they're already gone. 'Stupid isn't it?'I sigh to myself as I walk toward the school gate. Monday wasn't my favorite day of the week. "Are you still sick Ali?" Julia greeted me as soon as she saw me. "Yeah, I'm fine just a little bit dizzy." I lied. I was actually okay. Physi
