Chapter 29: Who's The Killer?

Alison's POV:

Sunday morning I heard a knock on the door. My parents were out since they both ended up going to meetings at work. I abruptly got on the couch as I was busy locating shows that would pique my interest.

"Hello good morning missy. Are your parents present at the moment?" The officer with a ponytail asked. Two police officers were at the front door I saw their car parked outside. I got anxious since my parents are not there.

"They're not here as of now. Why? Did something happen?" I inquired since there seems to be a ruckus down the road.

"Nothing much missy but if you are alone these days better lock your windows and doors. A robbery took place on the 5th corner of Dawson Street. Just be careful on your own." The older officer warned.

I bid them farewell and a thank you as well. But since I got nothing to do I quickly take my jacket and the keys. I texted mom that I will be out for a while and so I left the house soon. Taking my bicycle, I circled the block where the acci
