Chapter 25: Everything Is Her Fault

Mandy's POV :

The room was devastating. Broken glasses, garbage everywhere, and that God-forsaken stench that feels like it's punching my nose. Of course, the reason for this sorry state of my home would be my stupid father. He came home last night drunk that's why the whole place was trashed. I quickly left home to avoid being a punching bag again. Then went to stay at the pack house. David and his father weren't there so I sneaked into David's room. His scent was all over the place and I can't help but breathe it in and rub it to myself. The next morning I showed up at home. Father is long gone by morning so I can peacefully prepare myself for school.

Too much happened after the contest. Lucius would often not see me and he won't be at his apartment where I can stay at least to hang out for a bit before going home.
