Any call coming from Ava gave me an uncomfortable feeling now. There always seemed to be some bad news after another. “Yeah?" I asked her, one hand lightly drumming the steering wheel. I was on my way home after another horrible day, in which Xhing had finally pulled out, unable to trust our integrity with all the legal cases against us. May's mother had finally showed up, and like Kareem predicted, she dragged us to court too. It was obvious someone or some people were behind this. And I intended to fish them out and make them suffer after all this was over.

“Sir". She cleared her throat. “The communication system is down. Some workers are reporting that important documents have been deleted".

I sagged, hitting the brakes. A car honked behind me but I ignored it, resting my head on the steering. “What?" I whispered. What had I even done to deserve this?

“It's an urgent situation, sir. What would you like me to do?"
