It wasn't what she intended to wear to the event, but with nearly two hours left before it began, there was no rush. The doorbell suddenly rang. That must be the food. Immediately, she dropped Axel's coat onto the bed before anyone could catch her doing what she'd just been doing with it. Then she got up and headed for the door.
