Chapter 23 - The past says Hello

Theo POV

It’s been forty-eight hours since I last spoke to Everly. I close my eyes, resting my arm covering my eyes. I take a deep breath as my phone starts ringing again. I pick it up and again it’s the same number.

“Hello?”, I answer, and I hear small breathing on the other side, and no one speaks. I frown and I look at the screen again before bringing it back to my ear.

“Everly is that you?”, I ask but no answer and the call ends again. That’s it. This has to stop. I stand up grab my tracksuit trousers and put them on. I grab my white t-shirt shove it on, and walk barefoot out of my room towards Elliot’s room. We have been staying at the safe house. The only time I got out was right after my fight with Killian, and I made sure that my knuckles were raw when I got back. I went into a fight club and released all of my frustration. I think one of the guys ended up dead, but I can’t be sure. There was too much blood all around me, and I was still seeing red to be concerned about deta
