The whole week was basically getting ready for tonight. But there were a few things worth mentioning. First, monday…the whole football team questioned the suspension of the coach, with the exceptions of Tyler and Patrick. I had texted Patrick about it, not being too specific, but telling him that the coach had gotten in trouble for homophobic actions and abuse.

Tyler was in school Monday but spent most of his time in the main office or guidance. I saw him when I was called to guidance to speak to a social worker from the group investigating the situation and saw Tyler briefly.

Tuesday, yesterday and again today Tyler sat at my table at lunch. Asking to sit next to me on Tuesday and thanking me for helping him out. I didn’t really…I still feel like this is somehow my fault but he told me that I helped set him free. His mother accepts him fully, but he asked if he could stay with Gina for a little bit, she has a spare room in her loft above the studio and worksh
