Eva came back to the present and saw that the same scene was going on. But this time she was not able to increase her pace as Nigel was in her arms.

“How am I going to save him, son?” whispered Eva in panic.

Suddenly Nigel disappeared from her arms and reappeared sitting on the side of the road. Eva went numb seeing the act of Nigel. 

She absently watched Nigel in astonishment. But Nigel pointing towards his father and tried to remind her about Gil.

Eva got what her son was trying to gesture. So she nodded her head and ran towards Gil. When she approached Gil she pushed him to the side of the road and like in past she falls on top of him.

“You protect me and I protect you deal?” said Eva and smiled at Gil.

Gil gently touched her cheeks and whispered, “I love you…”
