Chapter 38- Ruth & Andrew pt 1

Ruth’s POV

I am being suffocated by the damn wolf’s scent. Trapped in our rental car as we make our way into Las Vegas. One hundred and one miles of pure torture, stuck in this tiny little car and we still have over fifty to go.

We couldn’t risk the demon we are hunting to sense Levi’s presence in the city so instead Levi teleported us to Bullhead City, Arizona. A city along the Arizona and Nevada border that will allow us to drive into Las Vegas as if we were there to have a good time.

Levi got us a tiny little sports car that he says will make us look like high rollers looking for fun, but I’m convinced he did it to torture me. He knows my disdain for wolves. Though I am finding it harder and harder to hold on to those feelings when it comes to my wolf.

Andrew shifts in his seat sending waves of his pine and morning dew scent to my side of the car. I roll my window down a crack to air out his scent. I take in a deep breath of fresh air but only accomplish sucking in more of his i
