141. A Quick Release

...Lexi POV...

The day after I saw Xavier, Craig had me kidnap a innocent child. I refused at first. The last thing I wanted, was to cause any harm to an innocent child. However, it was as though Craig could sense my hesitation, though it was probably due to the lack of movement from my tracker. Which is why, a short while later I received a video call of one of his men applying more cuts to a nearly dead Ryker. He had been drained of so much blood already, that his skin had taken on a sickly shade of white. It was almost as though he barely had any blood left. Just the thought of him dying made my warrior mode click into gear. 

While I wasn't happy with having to kidnap a child, I knew I also didn't have another option. I was glad that at least my brother was alive, but for long, I have no clue. What I did know, was that I couldn't waste time with my morality. I needed to end this now. From what I saw on the video, I'd be lucky if I had three days tops.
