"I told you I don't want to do this!" I yelled at Caesar as we paddled the kayak together.

"You are saying that, but here you are now, paddling with me." With a grin on his face, Caesar responded.

I came to a halt and gave him a deathly gaze. I gritted my teeth and said, "You forced me! This isn't out of my own volition!"

"Then you should have said something when they were explaining to us how to use the kayak."

"If I did, would you have listened?"

"That depends. If you said you didn't want to go kayaking but would still give me your time to have a decent talk with you again, I would. But if you refuse to go kayaking and also refuse to lend some of your time, I will not listen to you."
