But my prayer was not answered the next morning. As soon as I left my room, I saw Caesar in the living room, having coffee and chatting with Papa.

They both turned to face me with smiles on their lips, though Caesar's was bigger.

"Good morning, dear." Papa greeted me.

I returned Papa's smile and approached him, kissing his cheek and greeting him, "Good morning, Papa."

"Good morning, Brae."

I raised my brows in response to Caesar's greeting. "What brings you here so early? It's only seven o'clock in the morning." I questioned him without bothering to return his greeting.

"I have something important to tell your parents." He replied, still smiling.

My brow furrowed even more. "How important is it that you tell my parents that you can't wait any longer and have come this early? It's also Monday. Don't you have to go to work?"

"I'm on a month's vacation and don't have to go to work. As for why I'm here this early, well, I'm too excited (and nervous) to wait any longer and just had to tell
