My alarm blared loudly.

I groaned, turning around as my hand blindly reached for it.

I finally found it and turned it off.

“Fuck.”

Another Monday morning, another school.

My head hurt, my body did too and my mouth… it tasted like I'd eaten shit and forgotten to brush my teeth.

I frowned slightly, touching my head.

“What the fuck?” I murmured, rolling out of bed as I walked towards my bathroom mirror.

I stared at myself, eyes widening at the huge bump on my head.

“Jesus… What the hell happened, Rosie?”

I sighed heavily, deciding to take a bath instead.

The water cascading down my body helped jog my memory as it went back to the club.

Lena.

The two guys…

Then—

My eyes snapped open as the memories came rushing back.

I turned off the shower, dried off and put on my school uniform which consisted of a short skirt and button down clothes.

I ran down the stairs, heart beating wildly in my chest.

“Shit, shit, shit, what the fuck Rosie?”

It's alright…

I just have to avoid him for now…

I screeched to a stop, as I came face to face with none other than my future stepdad.

Henry.

My gaze trailed his body, he was clad in a black suit and he held a briefcase.

“Good morning, Rosie. How was your night?” He asked, voice strained.

No need to make things awkward.

He's probably hoping I don't remember what happened last night.

If so…

“Good morning, Henry.”

He stared at me in surprise, smiling in relief. “It's good to know you're back to normal.”

“What do you mean by that?” I asked, innocently.

He shook his head, “never mind.”

“Did you bring me back from the party last night?” I asked.

He nodded.

“I'm so sorry I had to put you through all that stress.”

He smiled, “it's fine, I'm happy to help.”

“You didn't tell mum, did you?”

“Cross my heart.” He said, making an ‘x’ gesture.

“Alright then, I've gotta go.” I said, waving at him. “I don't wanna be late for school.”

“Wait—” he said.

But I was already walking off, desperate to get away from him.

I flagged a taxi and jumped in.

I exhaled heavily, thankful I was finally away from him.

“Where to, miss?”

“Everest University.” I said.

“Alright then.”

With that he began pulling away.

I leaned back on the seat, closing my eyes as images from last night came flooding in.

I smirked slightly, knowing I actually had an effect on him.

This wasn't one-sided, Rosie.

And now I knew just when, what to do and how to push his buttons.

******

“I'm so sorry, Lena.”

“You don't know how worried I was, Clay and Andy told me some man said he was your dad and took you home.”

My cheeks burned with embarrassment.

“Yeah about that… I'll explain later.”

She shook her head. “Yeah you need to, cause when I called your home line some man answered.”

I—”

“Let's just go, we'll sort this out later as you said.” Lena grumbled, pulling me along.

We chatted with a few classmates on the way as we walked towards our first class.

“What's up, Lena.” A very familiar voice said from behind me.

I turned around to find none other than Mr hard.

“Shit.”

“What's up, Andy.” Lena said, pulling him in for a hug.

His gaze landed on mine and he smiled sensually. “And if it isn't daddy's girl.”

“Hey…” I waved but he instead pulled me in for a hug.

“Don't make things all awkward, last night was strictly business…” he said, pulling away. “Although… I don't mind us taking it somewhere else.”

I rolled my eyes crossing my arms over my chest. “I was drunk, okay.”

“If you say so…”

“Why are you here?”

“Duh… I go to school here.”

“I've never seen you around.”

“You don't talk to anyone, Rosie. You always keep you head down and your nose clean.” he chuckled, softly.

“And besides… what business does a good girl have hanging with delinquents like me.”

“Don't call me that.”

“Call you what, good girl?”

“I'm not some… good girl.”

“Ohh… so you're a bad girl… I mean you were pretty bad last night—”

I slammed my hand on his mouth.

“I am not interested, Andy.”

He pulled back, laughing loudly. “Don't mind me, love. I actually have a girlfriend so…”

“Seriously? And you were—”

“Like I said, it's strictly business and trust me, she'd have loved to join us. See you later Lena.” He said, waving as he walked away. “And you too, daddy's girl.”

I exhaled heavily, gaze locked on his retreating form.

“That was all shades of weird.” I murmured.

“You think…” Lena scoffed. “Then wait till you meet his girlfriend, I tell you they're both screwed up.”

I shook my head lightly.

“Let's go,” Lena said, pulling me towards our chair.

We both took our seat and began bringing out our notes.

“Did you manage to go through the books I gave to you?” Lena asked, glancing at me over her shoulder.

My mind drifted to Henry almost immediately.

I pursed my lips and nodded.

She opened her mouth to say something when the classroom door opened and the principal walked in.

“Good morning class.” Principal Nowell called.

“Good morning, Principal Nowell.” The classroom echoed.

“I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, I wouldn't like to take much of your time and that of the teacher—so I'll stick to a simple introduction.”

Murmurs filled the air instantly.

“Quiet down… like I said, I'd like to keep this short. You're having a new teacher and he's going to be taking care of the following subjects. Physics, maths, further maths and chemistry—” she paused slightly, walking back to the door.

“Please come in.” She murmured slightly.

The figure walked in, holding a familiar looking briefcase.

I frowned slightly, stretching my neck to get a good view.

My eyes widened in shock.

Tall and sinfully gorgeous, with streaks of gray in his neatly trimmed black hair.

He was wearing a fitting black suit just like he did this morning.

He walked towards the podium with the principal and faced the classroom with a professional smile.

Dark blue eyes, framed by a sharp jawline.

His gaze zipped through the crowd of students as if searching…

Till they landed on mine.

My breath hitched as his lips curved into that charming smile that always made my mouth water and my pussy clench.

At this moment, the man standing in front of me wasn't my future stepfather.

But my teacher.

“Class,” principal Nowell called. “Please let's welcome your new teacher…”

Something clicked at the back of my mind, and as much as I wanted to brush it off as a simple coincidence…

I couldn't stop asking myself why.

All of a sudden, my former teachers were absent and this man was taking over as a teacher for the very subjects I was having issues with.

“…he used to be a professor at Everest's college back then, I'm sure a lot of you are familiar with him…”

This was no coincidence.

“...but for the sake of our new students… I'll reintroduce him.”

This was definitely a planned setup, but how?

“Put your hands together, for—Gareth Henry.”
