Well, not this time!

Her reason is simply a depiction of real-life villains who believe so deeply in the rightness of their actions that nothing else matters to them.

Ever seen someone who did something just because they could?

Heard of someone who wanted something so badly that they would burn everything in their path just to get it, even though it was never theirs to begin with?

Seen people who act just for the joy of causing others pain and getting away with it?

I bet there are a thousand and one names for people like that.

Now, which of these names would you give Guinevere, Sophia, Richard, and others?

Talk of age-old curses and all.

Knowing our Athena and how many times she has beaten the odds of fate and bent it to her will, do you really think she will let something as pesky as the Boone lineage curse cut short her love story?

I bet you know the answer to that, don’t you?

Now, where on earth are Killian, Zaya, and Lillian?

Now that Guinevere has decided to take information about their whereabouts to her grave, will Raymond and Athena ever find them? Or will they turn out to be like many missing people whose families still have no idea what exactly happened to them, even years later?

Talk of fates. Will our beta general, Lorraine, finally succumb to the pull of the mate bond, or does Logan still have a long way to go with his stubbornly disagreeable mate?

Well, one would think a sequel to this book is expected because of the aforementioned points, but the truth is that even this author is not sure that will happen.

If there is a sequel, then there will be glimpses of our Alpha Queen and her consort as they wax stronger in their love and life.
